Don Bosco School Gumla – Class 10 Students on an Excursion to Sikkim & Gangtok

Jharkhand, Gumla, September 12, 2018: Don Bosco School Gumla organized a five day trip to Sikkim and Gangtok. The trip commenced on 9th September when the students of class 10 boarded Ranchi-Kamakhya train from Ranchi Station. It was an enthralling journey in the train, the group reached N.J.P (Siliguri) at 1.00 p.m. Thereafter they proceeded to Gangtok and stayed in a hotel. On 11th September they were excited to explore various sites like – ‘Floor Show’, ‘Hanuman Tek’, ‘Botanical Garden’, ‘Water Fall’, and ‘Handicraft’, etc. On 12th September they visited ‘Shongo Lake,’ and Baba Mandir.’ Their journey, back home began on 13th September and reached Ranchi by 2.00 p.m.

It was a wonderful experience for all the students and staff. They will certainly nurture these experiences for their lifetime. Overall it was an astounding experience which not only catered into giving students a learning disclosure but also truly enlightened the fact that being in the nature is what brings a lot of happiness.
