FRESHERS’ DAY AND THE RELEASE OF THE SCHOOL MAGAZINE “SPANDAN”

Ranchi, Kokar, April 1, 2019: Today 1st of April 2019, Don Bosco School celebrated it freshers’ day. The new students were ushered to the assembly point by the school band. Which was followed by the morning assembly conducted by class 6 B. The theme of the morning assembly was ‘Punctuality’.

Master of Ceremony was Ankit Kerketta of class 12 C, who anchored the program.  The students of the entire school were present in the assembly to witness the release of the school magazine “SPANDAN” for the academic session 2017-18 and to welcome the new students.

Ankit said, “The school magazine is a reflection of the culture of the school and it is the mirror to the cream of our activities, creativity of our imagination and our expression”. He also took the opportunity to thank Miss Suchitra Toppo who was the chief editor of the magazine “SPANDAN”. He also thanked the Principal, Father Jyotish who worked tirelessly to bring about, to publish and to release the magazine on this day. He too thanked the Vice Principal Father Nirmal, the staff members and students for their valuable contribution of articles for this edition 2017-1018.

Father Jyotish was invited to release the magazine “SPANDAN”. Father Vice Principal, teachers’ representative, Mr.Peter, Ms.Reeta, the HOD of Hindi department, Ms. Sophia, the HOD of English department and one monitor from each class (classes 10 and 12) were invited to the stage for the release of the school magazine.
