Delhi, Alaknanda, May 7, 2019: The Investiture Ceremony for the session 2019- 2020 was held on 7 May in Don Bosco School, Alaknanda. The solemn occasion began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. A prayer was read by the Vice Principal and Administrator Fr. Bhushan Cosmos Barla. It was followed by a prayer song presented by the students of the Junior School Choir. The Solemn Promise and the Oath was then administered by the Principal and Rector Fr. Babu Varghese to all the Student Council Members. They were presented with badges and sashes. The DBS Monthly Newsletter, an initiative of the Council members, was released by the Principal on a tablet. It was well appreciated by the students. The new Council outlined their objectives for the new session. The programme concluded with the singing of the School Anthem.
