Jharkhand, Ranchi, Kokar, Feb. 4, 2018: The Parish youth of Kokar celebrated the Feast of Don Bosco on the occasion of the Annual Youth Day on 4th February 2018 at 10.00 a.m.
The prime event of the day was the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Shilanand Kerketta, the rector and parish priest at 10.30 a.m.
Fr. Deepak Kindo inspired the youth with his motivational talk. It was followed by cultural dance and entertainment. The youth of Kokar had won the ‘Inter Parish Football Tournament’ and a ‘goat’ was given as a prize. There could not have been the better occasion than this for the community to have gathered and enjoyed the sumptuous meal. The annual youth day was concluded with the rhythmic steps of a tribal dance called ‘Sadri’, thus making it a memorable day for the Youth.
