New Delhi, Alaknanda, July 6, 2018: The recognition day at Don Bosco School, Alaknanda for the senior students was held on 6th July 2018 in the school auditorium.
The program started with an audio visual presentation on alumni achievers of the school. It was followed by an introduction to the program by the comparing team of Jayesh Gautam and Aditya Ishan.
The Lamp was lit by the guest of honour Fr. Biju Abraham (Provincial Economer), Fr. Babu Varghese, the principal of Don Bosco School, Fr. Bhushan, the vice-principal, Mr. Kapoor, Mr. Ganga Kumar (member of PTA) and Mr. Cecilia M. (Teacher representative). This was followed by an action song by student of class III.
The principal addressed the gathering and briefed the audience on the achievements of the school and the new infrastructure developments.
The prizes for academic excellence for the classes VI – XII were given by the principal, vice principal, PTA members and Fr. Biju.
The program ended with excellence awards where students proficient in various streams, sports, music and other activities were recognized. The toppers of class X and XII CBSE Board Examinations were also felicitated.
