New Delhi, Alaknanda, September 16, 2018: We deeply mourn the sudden passing away of Fr. Brian Diamond (85) due to cardiac arrest. He passed away last night (9.15 pm, Sunday 16th September 2018). The funeral Mass will be held on 18th September (Tuesday) 2018 at 4.30 pm at DBTI Chapel, Okhla, New Delhi, followed by the funeral in the Salesian Cemetery, Don Bosco Provincial House, New Delhi.
Indeed, Fr. Diamond had a graceful death and he was well prepared to meet his Master. He was extremely cheerful on the day, had his usual supper and as he went to the washroom, he had a cardiac arrest and breathed his last.
We pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Diamond! May God abundantly reward him for the love, dedication and holiness with which he served God’s people in the provinces of Kolkata and New Delhi.
