Session on learning disabilities in children

New Delhi, Jan. 8, 2019: Ms. Pema Dolkar, a final year M.Sc Nursing student of Holy Family College of Nursing Okhla Road, New Delhi conducted session on learning disabilities in children for the teachers of Don Bosco School Alaknanda on 8th January 2019.

During her session she said that the ‘learning disability means a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes involved in understanding or in using language, spoken or written, that may manifest in an imperfect ability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell or do mathematical calculations including conditions such as perceptual disabilities, brain injury, minimal brain dysfunction, dyslexia and developmental aphasia.’
