Ranchi, Garigaon, Oct. 31, 2018: The annual sports day was held on 31st October at Don Bosco school Garigaon. It was a red letter day for all the students and staff of Garigaon.
The chief guest of the day was Ms. Asha Lakra, the Mayor of Ranchi. She was given a cordial welcome by Fr. Anand Surin, the principal of the school, staff and students. The others present for the occasion were the Rector, Fr. Michael, Fr. Noble George, Fr. Nirmal Toppo, Fr. Lievence Aind, Mr. Sham Edimpact and parents of the students.
Ms. Asha Lakra in her speech spoke about the change and transformation in the society. She exhorted the students to be the agents of change in their locality and in their society. She adjured the students to study hard and be filled with values specially the value of discipline and respect for teachers and elder. A piece of advice given to the Managing Committee and staff members was team-work and to ensure development of the school and the students.
It was a memorable day for all.
