Teacher’s Day Celebration at DBTI Okhla

New Delhi, Okhla, September 5, 2018: Throughout India the Teachers’ Day is celebrated in a very high profile manner and is also one of the most significant and momentous events in schools and colleges. The students forget bitter experiences and plan hard to express their love, appreciation and gratitude to their teachers.

The teachers of DBTI were mesmerized, the students were stunned and the weather rendered its loveliest atmosphere as the campus got soaked in the teachers’ day celebration. The week long planning, preparation and personal sacrifices of the students had to produce something unforgettable, grand and special on this day. To begin with, the teachers were escorted by the students of Printing Department from the reception to the auditorium. They were made to get on to the chariot and with the apt music for each one of them and with thunderous claps and cheer teachers were welcomed to the auditorium. Nothing more could have made them happier than this. The students also greeted the teachers with beautiful red roses and with the traditional “Teeka” on their forehead.

Thereafter the cultural programme started and the entire auditorium was completely engrossed in the mood of celebration and jubilation. The programme included prayer song, greeting song, drama and four dances. Teachers were also entertained through a party games conducted by the Principal himself. This was followed by the grand volleyball match between the staff and the students, in which the victory belonged to the staff, the most deserved ones. Finally all departed from the campus with a considerably big packet of delicious snacks in their hands. The event will be remembered for its charm, creativity and uniqueness.
