All of us in India today naturally want to know when the COVID-19 pandemic will end. However, assessing the end dates is obviously tough due to the ambiguity of future as a result of the complex, dynamic and heterogeneous nature of the world we live in and the infectious disease we are facing. Covid-19, like any other pandemic, will follow a life cycle pattern which includes the initial outbreak, acceleration stage, infection phase, deceleration and eventual ending. Therefore, it is important for us to disseminate accurate information, keep the mood positive and also counter misinformation.
