DON BOSCO’S FEAST WITH A DIFFERENCE AT DBTI, OKHLA

It was a fascinating day indeed for the staff and students of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla on 31st January 2021 as the institute celebrated the feast of Don Bosco in a meaningful manner. His Grace Archbishop Anil Joseph Thomas Couto of Delhi Archdiocese celebrated Holy Mass at 10.30 am for the staff and students. Archbishop Anil Couto praised the works of Don Bosco which had begun in Italy over one and half century ago. He appreciated the Salesians of Don Bosco for the tremendous work being done for the youth in various parts of India. He expressed his happiness to see the development in DBTI, Okhla. Immediately after the Holy Mass the Archbishop and the Salesian fathers and brothers were felicitated by the students of DBTI. The mood at DBTI was festive with songs and games.

After a sumptuous lunch at 12.00 noon, the staff and students enjoyed together with a lot of fun games in the playground. The entire campus reverberated with laughter and cheer during the fun games organized by Fr. Abhay Beck and his team. These games and activities helped the trainees bring out their hidden talents and develop team spirit in them. The day ended with dancing in the playground. It was a fabulous day for everyone in the institute to remember and cherish.
