Report on Don Bosco Schools Principals’ Meeting

A three-day meeting for the principals of various Don Bosco Schools was held from August 18th to 20th, 2024, with 19 priests in attendance. The sessions covered a range of critical topics, including:
- POCSO Implementation: Detailed discussions on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act and its effective application in educational institutions.
- POSH Implementation: Insights into the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act and strategies for its enforcement within schools.
- NEP Implementation: Examination of the National Education Policy (NEP) and its integration into school practices.
- CCBI Pastoral Plan: Review and planning based on the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CCBI) pastoral plan.
- School Planning: Strategic sessions focused on planning and development for Don Bosco schools.
- Decoding the Dream at 9: Exploration of the vision and mission guiding Don Bosco schools.
The meeting aimed to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of Don Bosco educational institutions across the region.
