Alaknanda, New Delhi November 14, 2017: The much awaited Children’s Day was celebrated in Don Bosco with much enthusiasm and fervour. The teachers made the day very special for the children and took to stage. They presented a lively programme to entertain the children. To the children’s surprise, the teachers sang and danced. The children dressed in casuals had a happy time in the school. They enjoyed games and matches organized for them by their teachers and actively participated in the Art Competition. Refreshments were distributed in each class.
On this memorable day new synthetic basketball court was inaugurated by Fr. Babu Varghese the principal and rector of Alaknanda. Basketball match was played between Alumni and Don Bosco Team. It was very entertaining and the result ended up in draw. The match referee was none other than principal – Fr. Babu Varghese.
The campus was filled with an air of merriment on this fun filled day.
