New Delhi, Alaknanda, March 30, 2018: The ‘Way of the Cross’ was conducted in Don Bosco School campus on 30th March 2018 by the Holy Spirit Church, Alaknanda at 3.00 p.m.
There were about 600 faithful, gathered to participate in the Good Friday service with devotion and prayerful disposition. The passion of Jesus Christ was enacted by the youth of Alaknanda parish, evoking the spirit of repentance in the parishners. It was a moment of re-living the suffering of Jesus who willing accepted the Cross to save humanity and lead them to eternal life.
Fr. Jesu Raj, the parish priest, Fr. Babu Varghese, Fr. Jerry, Fr. Mukesh and other fathers helped the people to raise their minds and hearts in thanking God for the salvific grace received.
