New Delhi, DBTI, Okhla, September 3, 2018: The 17th of August 2018 was marked with another success story being inscribed in the book of DBTI community. The community along with other dignitaries like Fr. Jose Mathew, the Provincial, Fr. Naresh, the Vice Provincial, Provincial Councillors, Rectors and Leaders of our province witnessed the official inauguration of AC and Refrigeration training for boys in DBTI. One of the most prominent and well-known companies “Godrej” after having observed the authenticity, trustworthiness and the consistent work of Don Bosco, decided to extend its collaboration with the institute. Our heartfelt gratitude, boundless appreciation and hearty congrats goes to the stalwart of DBTI, Br Cyriac, who relentlessly works behind all these to bring them to reality.
The event was very well coordinated by Br. Tom, the Principal of DBTI. The talks given by all the speakers were highly insightful with words exuding inspiration and hope. Apart from the Salesians, there were around thirty people present for the event. They were all awestruck with the beautiful welcome song and the display of impeccable discipline by the hostel boys. They stood still and listened to all the talks patiently. The chief executive of Godrej Company expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards the institute and encouraged it for close collaboration to achieve the purpose – that is to offer a platform for the young boys to earn their living. The event came to an end with delicious snacks being dished out for everyone present. All departed with pleasant smiles on their faces.
