Jharkhand, Gumla, April 20, 2018: The investiture ceremony was organised on 20th April 2018 in the morning at 9.00 am. It began with a procession of all the office bearers, captains, monitors and vice monitors of Don Bosco School Bamhni Gumla. They were led to the stage by the Principal and Vice Principal. Then the Blessings of God was implored by singing a song. This was followed by the lightening of the lamp and passing of the light to various school leaders. Then the Principal asked some preliminary questions to the elected leaders to which all answered enthusiastically with a sense of responsibility. The office bearers and the House Captains then came forward to make their solemn promise one by one. Thereafter the Principal, Vice Principal and the House Co-ordinators honoured the Head Boy and Head Girl, House Captains, Class Monitors and Vice Monitors respectively. Then honourable Fr. Hemlet Kujur, the Principal delivered his keynote address to the newly invested office bearers highlighting on the qualities of a good leader. Fr. Vice Principal also had his turn in thanking various persons responsible for making the day a successful one. The investiture ended with the school anthem sung by all the Bostonians in unison.
