New Delhi, August 20, 2017:The Salesian province of New Delhi celebrated the jubilee of eight confreres at Don Bosco provincial house, New Delhi on August 20, 2017.
The diamond jubilee of profession and golden jubilee of ordination of Fr. D’Souza Joseph, golden jubilee of profession of Fr. Naikamparambil Joseph and Fr. Peedikayil Michael, Silver jubilee of ordination of Fr. James Jainivas, Fr. Koorappallil Jose Mathew and Fr. Dang Edward and silver jubilee of profession of Fr. Manjakattil Noble George and Fr. Hemlet Kujur.
On this day the festive atmosphere prevailed in the campus of provincial house, Oklha, New Delhi. The arrival of priests, religious and laity in a large numbers added great joy to the occasion.
The jubilee celebration began at 5.30 P.M. with the Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. D’Souza Joseph, the founder of Disciples – a secular institute at Don Bosco Technical Institute Chapel. As the entrance hymns began, all the jubilerians and concelebrants proceeded to the Altar.
Soon after the Holy Mass cultural programme was organized at Don Bosco Technical Institute hall. A meaning short get together added colour to the celebration. A short video programme was presented to express gratitude to all the jubilerians. The jubilee celebration culminated with sumptuous meal served at Savio hall, Don Bosco Provincial House, Okhla.
