New Delhi, Jan. 26, 2018: Migrant students of Nepal were provided study materials to encourage and motivate them in their studies.
There were 26 students along with their guardians. Fr. Babu Varghese the Rector and principal of Don Bosco School, Fr. Noel Maddhichetty, Fr. Vincent Thamburaj, and Fr. Bhushan Barla graced the occasion with their presence. The programme commenced at 10.30 with a talk on ‘Integrated Life’ by Fr. Norbert D. Xalxo which was followed by another talk by Fr. Noel on the life of Don Bosco, enumerating the work done for migrants in the city. Fr. Babu too motivated the audience with his speech saying that ‘we too came from the ordinary background but we had the desire to become someone great. We got to study well to achieve our goal.
At the end of the programme students were presented solar lamps, school bags, tables and chairs. They expressed their gratitude to Don Bosco Society for the help.
