New Delhi, Alaknanda, Jan. 25, 2019: The morning of 25th January had something new and special to offer to the Bosconians. The Republic Day Celebration started off with an assembly condeucted by class 6 D. Then came the unconventional part of this Republic Day Celebrations, which mad this year’s one different from the previous ones.
It was the successful collaboration of the SST department that made a perfect replica of Raj Path in the auditorium of Don Bosco School Alaknanda. The unique culture of Indian states was displayed by the students and teachers through the medium of visual presentation and tableaus.
The programme was coordinated really well. Each tableau had its own uniqueness and beauty to offer to our eyes. It was informative and entertaining. After this the most esteemed Principal, Fr. Babu Varghese enlightened us with his words. During his speech he told us that our school was presented with ‘National School Excellence Award’ for outstanding commitment and exceptional efforts in promoting Co-curricular Education 2018-2019.
