New Delhi, Akankanda, April 2, 2018: Don Bosco School, Alaknanda commenced its academic year 2018-2019 on 2nd April 2018.
The school staff with their pleasant countenance stood at the entrance of the gate to welcome the students. The air was crisp and cool, the trees exploded with brightly coloured leaves and beautiful flowers lying along the drive added cheer to the Don Bosco Campus.
Most of the students were excited while some seemed to suffer from a ‘homesick’ feeling, perhaps missing their parents. However, the teachers had a fun way of making hard things so easy by their guidance and support.
Fr. Babu Varghese, the Principal met all the parents of K.G. students in the auditorium, expressing words of welcome to students and parents. In his talk, he gave the guidelines and how to use ‘campus care’. Parents being in the school for the first time, he explained the vision of the school, the achievements, the facilities, the dedicated staff and the all-round formation of the students.
It was a stressful day for the Principal and his staff but the team spirit made the day memorable.
