Ranchi, Kokar, Jan. 26, 2018: Don Bosco School celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm and zest.
Fr. Jyotish Kindo, the principal, Fr. Shilanand Kerketta, the rector and Fr. Godentius Kandulna, the vice-principal along with teachers and students gathered in the school campus to hoist the flag at 9.00 a.m. Fr. Shilanand, the chief guest for the day, hoisted and flag and spoke on the values to be cultivated by a good citizen.
On this auspicious day ‘Yoga’ display by the students stole the show of the day. The yoga group performed the variety of ‘Yoga Asanas’ with music. The ‘Asanas’ like Surya Namaskar, one of the most energizing technique in yoga, which comprises of 12 postures facilitating the working of different organs and glands present in the body.
The celebration indeed instilled the feeling of patriotism and oneness to all present for the occasion.
