The YaR Leaders Orientation Program was successfully conducted in New Delhi from July 29 to 31, 2024, with 38 participants in attendance. This program aimed to equip leaders with essential knowledge and skills related to working with Young at Risk (YaR) individuals.
During the three-day orientation, participants received comprehensive training on various aspects of the YaR framework, including insights into the Child Care Institutions (CCI), the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act, and the needs of juvenile children. Experts facilitated workshops and discussions, providing valuable information and practical strategies for effectively supporting at-risk youth.
The program fostered an engaging environment for networking and collaboration among participants, enhancing their understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals in vulnerable situations. By the end of the orientation, participants left with renewed motivation and a clear vision for implementing their learning in their respective communities. Overall, the event was instrumental in strengthening the capacity of leaders working with YaR populations.
