Bengaluru, Kristu Jyoti College, March 19, 2018: Rev. Archbishop Bernard Mores ordained 26 brothers as deacons on 19th March 2018 at KristoJyoti College Chapel.
It was a moment of great joy as 16 Salesians, 10 from other 6 congregation said ‘yes’ to the call of God. This auspicious day was graced by the presence of Fr. Joyeece, the provincial of Bengaluru, two other provincials from Tiruchy and Hyderabad and vice provincials from other congregations.
The meaningful and well organized ceremony began at 7 a.m. and lasted for almost 3 hours. The chapel was speckled with friends and relatives of deacons.
New Delhi province was blessed with deacon Binit and deacon John Xess.
At the end, the newly ordained deacons were felicitated by their relatives in their own groups.
