Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, located in New Delhi is an English medium Higher Secondary School for boys. The Motto is ‘Ever more and Better ever’. The school had its humble beginning under the tent at Don Bosco Technical School, Okhla in 1980. It was shifted to a sprawling new school building at Alaknanda in 1984. The house was canonically erected on 1 September 1987.

The School presently has a total strength of 2361 students ranging from Pre-Primary to Std XII. It has maintained a high academic standard. In keeping with the best of Salesian Traditions, the school has had co-curricular activities in plenty for the school kids as well as for the other schools. The School has installed the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure complete satisfaction of the students and their parents. The school is ISO certified. (Evening School – For Underprivileged Children)
The school reaches out to the underprivileged and economically weaker sections of the society through the evening school, Don Bosco Ankur. About 320 children from poor homes come to the school in the afternoon after regular school is over. They are taught in different groups. All writing materials, text books, food, uniforms, shoes etc are sponsored. The Ankur school is run through the collaborative effort of the School Management, Parents, Teachers and Senior students. Seven teachers together with one of the teachers of the day school dedicate themselves to this noble work.
The school takes care of the children of the neighbourhood by organizing coaching in Basketball, Cricket and Table Tennis in the evening.
The School takes special care of the economically and socially weaker sections of the society by providing scholarship and freeship to them. The outreach programmes like Don Bosco Ashalayam and Don Bosco Najafgarh are other means of reaching out to the economically weaker section of the society.
